How is the match score worked out?
Kareeo reads the job posting, pulls out its requirements, and weighs the core ones more heavily than the nice-to-haves. Then it looks for evidence of each one in your resume text. You get a score from 0 to 100, a band, a verdict, and the requirements it could not find evidence for.
What do Strong, Competitive and Stretch mean?
Strong is a score of 70 or higher: your resume already shows most of what the posting asks for. Competitive is 40 to 69: worth applying once you have addressed the gaps you can honestly address. Stretch is under 40: most of the core requirements are not on your resume yet, so apply knowing that.
Is the score exact?
No, it is an estimate. It only knows what your resume says, so experience you have but did not write down cannot count. Treat it as a read on your resume against this posting, not a prediction of whether you will be hired.
Do you store my resume?
No. The file is read once to run the match and is not saved. We keep the job details and your result so your private result link keeps working. Nothing is public unless you choose to share it, and a shared card shows only the role, company, score and verdict, never your gaps or resume text.
